  • Use GA4 Configuration + Event tags; enable enhanced measurement where relevant.

UTM governance

  • Use lowercase: source, medium, campaign, term, content.
  • Standard: google / cpc, meta / cpc, instagram / story, whatsapp / cpc, email / newsletter.
  • Create a shared sheet of approved UTMs; avoid spaces and mixed case.

CRM handoff

  • Pass UTM and page_path into hidden form fields; store in CRM with lead.
  • Set webhooks to send lead + source to your CRM or Google Sheets.

Reporting stack

  • Looker Studio: leads, conversion rate, cost/lead (import ad spend), revenue if available.
